Vice President JD Vance and his wife Usha Vance say they are expecting their fourth child
The Denver Broncos and Kansas City Chiefs meet on Christmas Day in a matchup that reflects a dramatic reversal of recent AFC West fortunes. For much of the past decade, Kansas City entered late-season games gearing up for playoff runs while Denver watched from the sidelines. This year, the roles are flipped.
Denver (12-3) has already clinched a playoff berth but saw its grip on the AFC’s No. 1 seed loosen after a Week 16 loss to Jacksonville. With home-field advantage still in play, the Broncos will look to rebound while also attempting to sweep the Chiefs for the first time since 2014.
Kansas City (6-9), meanwhile, will miss the postseason for the first time since Andy Reid’s second season in 2014. Though eliminated, the Chiefs can still play spoiler by disrupting Denver’s push for the top seed. That task may be difficult, however, as Kansas City is down to its third-string quarterback after Patrick Mahomes and Gardner Minshew II suffered knee injuries in consecutive weeks. Chris Oladokun stepped in during last week’s loss to Tennessee.
The Christmas Day clash adds another chapter to the rivalry, with Denver chasing postseason positioning and Kansas City hoping to spoil a division rival’s championship ambitions.
