The couple shared the news in a social media post , saying both mother and baby are doing well. The child will join their three other children — Ewan, Viv ek and Mirabel. In their announcement, the Vances expressed gratitude to military doctors and staff who care for their family while they serve in public office. The news comes as Vance, 41, has long advocated for higher U.S. birth rates, a theme he has emphasized since launching his political career and continuing into his tenure as vice president.  Michigan Names Kyle Whittingham as New Head Football Coach

Michigan has hired longtime Utah coach Kyle Whittingham as its next head football coach, the program announced Friday. The 66-year-old replaces Sherrone Moore and brings more than three decades of coaching experience, including 21 seasons as Utah’s head coach.

Whittingham spent 32 years with the Utes and compiled a 177–88 record, making him the second-longest tenured head coach in the FBS behind Iowa’s Kirk Ferentz. His résumé includes eight seasons with 10 or more wins, highlighting a career defined by consistency and program stability.

While Whittingham has limited ties to the Midwest, Michigan is betting on his experience and proven leadership to guide the Wolverines forward.
