WASHINGTON — Vice President JD Vance and second lady Usha Vance announced Tuesday that they are expecting their fourth child, a son due in late July. The couple shared the news in a social media post , saying both mother and baby are doing well. The child will join their three other children — Ewan, Viv ek and Mirabel. Venezuela Live Updates: Maduro Arrives in N.Y.; Trump Says U.S. Will ‘Run’ Venezuela

Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro was taken into U.S. custody Saturday evening after being captured by American forces in Caracas and transported to the United States, according to U.S. media reports.

Maduro arrived at a National Guard facility in New York state aboard a U.S. government aircraft, where FBI agents escorted him on the tarmac. He was then flown by helicopter to Manhattan, where a heavy law enforcement presence was in place.

The 63-year-old leader was expected to be transferred first to the Drug Enforcement Administration’s New York offices and later to the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn, the same federal jail that previously held music mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs during his trial.

U.S. authorities said Maduro and his wife face charges including narco-terrorism, large-scale cocaine trafficking into the United States, and possession of illegal weapons. An arraignment date has not yet been announced.
